About the Role

Minnesota Cannabis Services is seeking a Vice President of Legal & Compliance to help guide our organization through a fast-evolving, highly regulated industry. You’ll partner with experienced leaders across cultivation, manufacturing, distribution, and retail to support responsible growth and strong governance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive leadership for legal strategy and compliance programs across the business
  • Advise leadership on regulatory requirements and risk management to support day-to-day operations
  • Oversee development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Support cross-functional teams by translating legal and compliance needs into practical action
  • Help ensure the organization operates with integrity while meeting applicable state and industry standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading legal and/or compliance functions in a regulated environment
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, risk assessment, and governance practices
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to thrive in a changing environment and manage complex, high-impact priorities
