Vice President, Medical Strategy (Remote, USA)

About the Role

Real Chemistry is seeking a Vice President of Medical Strategy to help shape how our clients advance healthcare through science-led, human-centered work. You’ll lead medical strategy efforts that combine deep expertise with AI-enabled insights, supporting pharmaceutical and biotech teams worldwide.

This role is part of a global healthcare communications and marketing agency focused on delivering measurable impact for patients, providers, and the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Own and guide medical strategy development for client programs across therapeutic areas
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate scientific evidence into clear, compliant messaging
• Lead strategy discussions with internal stakeholders and client leadership to align on goals and outcomes
• Use AI-driven insights and data to inform recommendations and improve program performance
• Mentor and support team members to elevate medical rigor and strategic thinking

Requirements

• Strong background in medical affairs, medical strategy, or a closely related healthcare discipline
• Experience supporting pharmaceutical/biotech clients and navigating healthcare compliance considerations
• Ability to lead strategic planning, influence stakeholders, and communicate complex concepts clearly
• Comfort working in fast-paced, collaborative environments with a strong focus on quality
• Demonstrated leadership experience mentoring others and driving team performance
