About the Role
CLS is seeking a Vice President to lead Remediation Management, supporting the reliability and integrity of our FX settlement infrastructure. You’ll help drive effective remediation processes across the FX lifecycle, ensuring issues are addressed quickly, consistently, and in a way that protects counterparties and the broader market.
Responsibilities
- Own and oversee remediation management activities, including triage, investigation, prioritization, and resolution tracking
- Partner with operations, technology, risk, and client-facing teams to coordinate corrective actions and prevent recurrence
- Establish and maintain remediation workflows, governance, and reporting to ensure timely execution
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, data quality, and control effectiveness
- Communicate remediation status and outcomes to internal stakeholders, and support escalations as needed
- Contribute to operational resilience by identifying root causes and strengthening controls
Requirements
- Leadership experience in remediation, incident/problem management, or operational risk in a regulated financial services environment
- Strong understanding of FX settlement operations and risk considerations (preferred)
- Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional workstreams and deliver under time-sensitive conditions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical and operational details for diverse audiences
- Experience building or improving processes, controls, and governance frameworks
