About the Role
Gritter Francona is seeking a Videographer to capture, produce, and edit high-quality video content for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) National Center for PTSD. You’ll support educational media initiatives by filming interviews, presentations, and event footage and transforming it into final deliverables that are accurate, accessible, and trauma-informed.
Responsibilities
- Film task-related events, interviews, presentations, demonstrations, and other production activities as needed
- Capture professional-quality video and audio with strong lighting, framing, composition, and sound
- Coordinate with project managers, video producers, and Government stakeholders on schedules and location logistics
- Review scripts, storyboards, and production plans to ensure footage matches educational goals and messaging
- Operate and maintain cameras, audio equipment, lighting systems, tripods, and other production gear
- Complete post-production editing, including sequencing, color correction, audio enhancement, graphics integration, captioning, and rendering
- Integrate live-action footage with animation, motion graphics, narration, and other multimedia elements
- Ensure deliverables meet technical specifications, accessibility requirements, branding standards, and QA expectations
- Maintain organized video files, project assets, metadata, and version control throughout production
- Incorporate Government feedback during review and approval cycles
- Ensure respectful portrayal of individuals and sensitive topics using trauma-informed communication principles
- Prepare final files for distribution across digital platforms, websites, social media, and presentations
- Support public awareness campaign production activities, including PTSD Awareness Month and related outreach
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, Broadcasting, Multimedia, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in videography and video editing aligned to this scope of work
- Proven ability to produce professional video deliverables from production through final delivery
