About the Role
ACCEL Schools is looking for a passionate teacher to serve as the teacher of record and primary instructor for students in grades 6–12 Business. In this virtual role, you’ll help create a supportive, high-expectation learning environment that supports both academic growth and social-emotional development.
Responsibilities
- Lead live, web-conference instruction tailored to student needs using research-based teaching practices
- Work to achieve student achievement goals, classroom culture expectations, and state academic accountability requirements
- Set up and manage each course in the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Track and monitor student progress, including growth through asynchronous learning
Requirements
- Eligible to work as a virtual teacher for residents of AL, FL, OH, OR, or TX
- Ability to deliver engaging live lessons remotely and manage a consistent online learning experience
- Experience using an LMS to support course delivery and student progress monitoring
