About the Role
Apple is looking for a Wireless Systems Researcher to use RF expertise to support user-centered research that shapes the design and development of Apple’s wireless products. You’ll study how real-world conditions—such as body-worn interference, dense RF environments, and multi-device coexistence—affect wireless performance and the overall user experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute rigorous, statistically sound research studies to quantify wireless system performance
- Investigate real-world usage scenarios, including interference and coexistence effects
- Translate technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for product development
- Partner with cross-functional teams across Human Factors, Antenna Design, RF Design, QA, and Software
- Support multiple phases of product development, from early research through validation
Requirements
- MS in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of professional experience, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering
Benefits
- Collaborate with world-class teams focused on both RF performance and user experience
- Opportunity to influence wireless product decisions using data-driven research
