About the Role
PistonPay is building the financial backbone for the trucks and fleets that keep the economy moving. As an Account Executive, you’ll own the end-to-end sales process for trade fleets across construction, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other service-based industries.
You’ll guide opportunities from the first product demo through to a signed contract, collaborating closely with founders, SDRs, and marketing to grow and improve the pipeline. This role offers real ownership, fast learning, and immediate impact.
Responsibilities
- Run full-cycle sales for trade fleet accounts, from first demo to signed agreement
- Build and manage a pipeline in partnership with SDRs and marketing
- Work with founders to refine messaging, pitch, and positioning for the trade fleet segment
- Collaborate cross-functionally to sharpen outreach, improve conversion, and scale deal flow
- Track deal progress, forecast accurately, and maintain strong opportunity hygiene
Requirements
- Proven experience closing B2B deals in a full-cycle sales role
- Comfort selling into trade or service-based industries (construction, HVAC, electrical, plumbing preferred)
- Strong communication and presentation skills for demos and executive conversations
- Ability to operate with ownership—building pipeline and improving the sales motion over time
