About the Role
Discord is seeking a seasoned Account Executive to join as a founding member of our Advertising Solutions (Quests) business line. In this senior, strategic individual contributor role, you’ll help build and scale the Tech vertical and establish Discord as a leading marketing platform for gaming-aligned brands.
Responsibilities
- Own the go-to-market strategy for the Tech vertical within Advertising Solutions (Quests)
- Build new business from zero-to-one, including prospecting, outreach, and deal development
- Partner with internal teams to develop compelling advertising solutions tailored to gaming and tech brands
- Manage the full sales cycle, from discovery through negotiation and close
- Use market and customer insights to refine positioning, messaging, and growth plans
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Account Executive in a B2B advertising, media, SaaS, or related environment
- Demonstrated ability to build pipeline and close deals in a fast-paced, early-stage setting
- Strong strategic thinking and comfort operating as a senior individual contributor
- Passion for gaming and an understanding of how brands engage communities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
