About the Role
Join our finance team as an Accounting Associate – Level III at the Cummins Inc. facility in Columbus, Indiana. In this role, you’ll help ensure accurate financial reporting, support month-end close activities, and deliver insights that strengthen decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Complete account reconciliations and analyses to verify the accuracy and reliability of financial data
- Support and help streamline the month-end close process to improve efficiency
- Compile and analyze accounting and finance information to provide actionable insights
- Prepare standard journal entries and perform complex reconciliations to support compliance with accounting standards
Requirements
- Relevant accounting experience with strong attention to detail
- Experience performing account reconciliations and financial analysis
- Knowledge of journal entries and month-end close processes
- Ability to work accurately with financial data and meet deadlines
