About the Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to help maintain accurate financial records and support day-to-day accounting operations. In this role, you’ll work with key accounting documents such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, receipts, and profit-and-loss information, while partnering with senior team members and assisting other departments as needs arise.
Responsibilities
- Use bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks) to manage day-to-day accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Record cash, checks, and vouchers; reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy
- Support payroll processing, purchase documentation, and invoice preparation
- Track overdue accounts and help maintain clean account status records
- Prepare and support reporting, including profit and loss summaries, financial statements, and balance sheet information
- Provide updates to management through clear reporting and presentations when requested
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with financial data
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping concepts such as AR/AP, receipts, and reconciliation
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting/bookkeeping systems
- Professional communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams
- Ability to manage tasks reliably and meet deadlines
