About the Role
We’re seeking an Accounting Clerk to support accurate, up-to-date financial records. In this role, you’ll help manage day-to-day accounting activities such as accounts payable and receivable, record transactions, and assist with reporting. You’ll also collaborate with senior team members and support other departments as needs arise.
Responsibilities
- Use bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks) to manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Receive and record payments (cash, checks, and vouchers) and reconcile bank statements
- Assist with payroll-related tasks, purchases, invoice preparation, and tracking overdue accounts
- Prepare and support financial reporting, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial summaries
- Provide updates to management through routine reporting and presentations
Requirements
- Experience or coursework in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers and financial documentation
- Ability to organize tasks, meet deadlines, and support multiple stakeholders
