About the Role
We’re seeking an Accounting Clerk to help keep our financial records accurate and current. In this role, you’ll support day-to-day bookkeeping activities, assist senior team members on special projects, and collaborate with multiple departments as needs arise.
Responsibilities
- Use QuickBooks (or similar bookkeeping software) to support accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Receive and record payments including cash, checks, and vouchers; reconcile bank statements
- Assist with payroll-related tasks, purchasing documentation, invoice preparation, and tracking overdue accounts
- Prepare and support financial reporting, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other required summaries
- Provide updates to management through regular reporting and presentations
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting processes (AR/AP, invoicing, reconciliations)
- Comfort working with accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
- Professional communication skills for coordinating with senior personnel and other departments
