About the Role
We’re seeking an Accounting Clerk to support accurate, up-to-date financial records. In this role, you’ll help maintain day-to-day accounting activities, support reporting, and collaborate with senior team members and other departments as needs arise.
Responsibilities
- Use bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks) to manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Record cash, checks, and vouchers; reconcile bank statements
- Assist with payroll-related tasks, invoice preparation, and tracking overdue accounts
- Prepare and compile financial reports, including profit and loss and balance sheet summaries
- Support management updates through organized documentation and periodic presentations
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of accounting processes such as A/R, A/P, and reconciliation
- Comfort working with bookkeeping or accounting software (QuickBooks experience a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to keep records accurate and current
- Good communication skills and a willingness to support multiple departments
