Accounting Manager - Full-Time (Hybrid) - San Francisco, CA

About the Role

Broccoli AI is seeking an Accounting Manager to help scale the finance function for our fast-growing AI platform serving home service businesses. You’ll own key accounting processes, partner with cross-functional teams, and ensure our financial reporting is accurate, timely, and audit-ready.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows to ensure clean, timely processing
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for leadership
• Maintain accurate general ledger coding and strengthen internal controls
• Prepare documentation and support audits, tax filings, and financial reviews as needed
• Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to improve reporting and operational insights

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounting management or a similar accounting leadership role
• Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., NetSuite/QuickBooks and Excel)
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a growth environment
