About the Role

Scout Motors is seeking an ADAS System Engineer to help design and deliver advanced driver-assistance capabilities focused on vehicle parking. You’ll work on systems that enhance safety, confidence, and usability—supporting features that perform in real-world driving and parking scenarios.

Responsibilities

  • Own system-level requirements and contribute to architecture for ADAS parking functions
  • Collaborate with software, controls, perception, and validation teams to integrate feature behavior end to end
  • Support functional definition, interface design, and verification planning for parking-related capabilities
  • Analyze test results and logs to drive issue resolution and continuous improvement
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure releases meet technical and quality targets

Requirements

  • Experience developing or integrating ADAS/automotive driver-assistance systems
  • Strong understanding of system engineering practices, requirements, and verification
  • Familiarity with vehicle functions and real-time system constraints (sensors, actuators, and control loops)
  • Ability to work effectively across engineering disciplines and translate needs into engineering plans
  • Strong troubleshooting skills using data, tools, and structured analysis
