About the Role
Join the Gary W. Rollins College of Business at UT Chattanooga as an Administrative Associate II. You’ll provide day-to-day administrative support for the Departments of Marketing and Entrepreneurship and Data Analytics, partnering with the department head, faculty, adjuncts, academic centers, students, and student organizations.
This role is also often the first point of contact for visitors and community professionals, helping ensure smooth operations and a welcoming experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations and manage front desk traffic
- Support faculty, adjuncts, academic centers, students, and student organizations
- Process supply orders and assist with class schedule support
- Coordinate departmental and center events, meetings, and special projects
- Take minutes for departmental meetings and maintain records according to university policy
- Reconcile departmental ledgers, procurement card statements, and payroll reports
- Monitor departmental budgets and related documentation
Requirements
- Experience providing administrative support in an academic or office environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle front desk responsibilities and professional customer service
- Comfort working with financial documentation such as ledgers and procurement records
- Reliable recordkeeping and meeting minutes experience
