About the Role
Pearce is hiring an Advanced BESS Technician to support mission-critical battery energy storage systems (BESS) and related electromechanical infrastructure across North America. You’ll be part of a technology-enabled team delivering maintenance, repair, operations, and engineering services for UPS systems, backup power generators, critical cooling, and BESS installations serving renewable energy, telecom, and data center customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and maintenance on BESS equipment and components
- Support repair and operational readiness activities for mission-critical power systems
- Collaborate with engineering and field teams to resolve technical issues efficiently
- Follow safety procedures and site requirements during all service activities
- Document work performed and maintain accurate service records
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with battery energy storage systems (BESS) and/or related power equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and electromechanical systems
- Ability to work onsite and travel as needed to customer locations
- Commitment to safety and adherence to established procedures
