About the Role

Redwood Materials is building a more sustainable battery supply chain by recovering, reusing, and recycling critical materials. We’re seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Analytical Laboratory Technician II to support both daily production testing and ongoing R&D work. In this role, you’ll help ensure analytical results are accurate, timely, and actionable for teams across CAM1 Production and CAM R&D.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine analytical testing to support CAM1 Production needs
  • Support CAM R&D initiatives by assisting with experiments, sample preparation, and data collection
  • Coordinate with CAM1 operators and R&D scientists to align testing workflows with operational goals
  • Maintain laboratory documentation, records, and quality-focused reporting
  • Follow established safety, handling, and laboratory procedures to ensure a compliant work environment

Requirements

  • Experience working in a laboratory setting with analytical testing responsibilities
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce reliable, repeatable results
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, startup environment with changing priorities
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate findings clearly
