About the Role
Take Command is building a better healthcare system by helping employers reimburse employees for individual health insurance—giving people more choice and the right support to make confident healthcare decisions. We’re looking for an Applied AI Specialist to help turn AI capabilities into practical, reliable solutions that improve our technology and user experience.
This role sits within Enterprise Operations and will support our mission by applying applied machine learning and AI techniques to real business and product needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy applied AI/ML models that solve operational and product challenges
- Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into measurable AI outcomes
- Evaluate model performance, reliability, and data quality to support continuous improvement
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to integrate AI into production workflows
- Document approaches, tradeoffs, and results to enable repeatable execution
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building applied machine learning or AI solutions
- Strong proficiency with Python and common ML libraries and tooling
- Working knowledge of data pipelines, model evaluation, and experimentation
- Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly with non-technical partners
- Experience in a production or enterprise environment is a plus
