About the Role
Columbia is seeking an Assembly Technician 3B to support our Palletizer Division by assembling machinery used in factory automation. You’ll work from blueprints, schematics, and instructions to complete assemblies across mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical components.
Responsibilities
- Assemble machinery daily using blueprints, schematics, and verbal instructions
- Complete large assembly work across pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical construction
- Read and interpret hydraulic and/or pneumatic schematics
- Use basic electrical knowledge to support wiring and troubleshooting (including volt meter use)
- Understand and follow electrical prints while continuing to build knowledge of related documentation
Requirements
- Basic ability to read hydraulic and/or pneumatic schematics
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and how to use a volt meter
- Familiarity with electrical prints and the ability to learn additional documentation types
