About the Role
Tofurky is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support our Maintenance team at our Hood River, Oregon facility. This full-time, onsite role focuses on keeping production equipment running reliably in a food manufacturing environment, with an emphasis on troubleshooting automated processing and packaging systems.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and OEM manuals
- Troubleshoot and repair automated processing and packaging equipment to minimize downtime
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance equipment reliability
- Maintain compliance with food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards
Requirements
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to interpret technical documentation such as schematics, drawings, and OEM manuals
- Commitment to safety and quality in a food manufacturing setting
