About the Role
LVT is building intelligent site technology that helps businesses improve safety, compliance, and operations. As a Powder Coat Technician I, you’ll support hands-on production by preparing and finishing components using powder coating processes that meet quality and consistency standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare parts for powder coating by cleaning, masking, and verifying surfaces are ready for application
- Apply powder coating using established procedures and equipment
- Monitor curing and finishing steps to ensure correct coating thickness and appearance
- Inspect finished parts for defects and rework as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe workstation and follow all shop safety practices
- Support continuous improvement by helping identify process issues and opportunities
Requirements
- Basic experience with powder coating or related finishing processes (training can be considered for the right candidate)
- Comfort working in a production environment with hands-on tools and equipment
- Ability to follow written work instructions and quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Commitment to safety and safe handling of materials and equipment
