About the Role

TPG is seeking an Analyst to support asset-based finance and asset management activities. In this role, you’ll help analyze credit and collateral-related opportunities, contribute to investment and operational workstreams, and partner with cross-functional teams to support decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with underwriting and analysis for asset-based finance initiatives, including collateral evaluation and risk assessment
  • Support asset management efforts by helping track performance, exposures, and key portfolio metrics
  • Build and maintain financial models and supporting materials for internal reviews
  • Collaborate with investment and operations teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and document findings
  • Contribute to monitoring processes to support ongoing portfolio oversight

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in financial analysis, accounting concepts, and credit fundamentals
  • Experience creating or maintaining financial models (Excel-based modeling preferred)
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of integrity and professionalism
