About the Role
T5 is hiring an Assistant Critical Facilities Manager to support the safe, reliable operation of mission-critical data center environments in Elk Grove, IL. In this role, you’ll help oversee day-to-day critical facilities activities and partner with engineering and operations teams to maintain strong uptime, compliance, and service quality.
Responsibilities
- Assist with monitoring and coordination of critical facilities systems to support continuous operations
- Support preventive maintenance planning and execution across key infrastructure
- Help track work orders, maintenance activities, and operational documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to address system issues and service requests
- Contribute to incident response efforts, including escalation and follow-up actions
- Maintain a focus on safety, procedures, and regulatory/compliance requirements
Requirements
- Experience supporting critical facilities, data center operations, or related infrastructure
- Strong understanding of mission-critical environments and uptime expectations
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate operational records
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
