About the Role

Carrier is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support electrical and mechanical facilities within our HVAC Test Laboratory. In this role, you’ll help keep lab equipment and facility systems running reliably so teams can test and validate climate solutions safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical facility systems
  • Support repairs and upgrades to lab infrastructure and test-related equipment
  • Inspect systems, identify issues early, and recommend corrective actions
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and support testing schedules
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and equipment status
  • Follow safety procedures and applicable quality and compliance requirements

Requirements

  • Experience with maintenance engineering across electrical and mechanical systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to interpret equipment or system issues
  • Working knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and safety standards
  • Ability to read and work from technical documentation (e.g., schematics, procedures)
