Position Summary
The Gus Machado College of Business invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, renewable faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. This role focuses on student-centered teaching and impactful academic service within the areas of quantitative and statistical analysis, supply chain, operations, logistics, and economics management.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in quantitative and statistical analysis and related business disciplines
- Support curriculum development and continuous improvement across supply chain, operations, logistics, and economics management
- Advise and mentor students to support academic success and professional growth
- Contribute to departmental and college initiatives through service and collaboration
- Engage in scholarship and scholarly activities aligned with faculty expectations
Requirements
- Earned doctorate (or ABD with a clear completion plan) in a relevant field such as operations management, supply chain, logistics, economics, statistics, or a closely related discipline
- Demonstrated strength in quantitative and statistical methods
- Experience or capability to teach at the undergraduate and/or graduate level
- Commitment to student-centered instruction and academic excellence
