About the Role
We’re seeking an Associate Director of Physician Operations for Heart & Vascular to lead market-level practice operations. In this role, you’ll partner daily with physicians and staff to reinforce the organization’s mission, vision, and values while ensuring practices run effectively and meet performance expectations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly rounding with staff and physicians to confirm practices are operating as expected
- Coordinate with Practice Managers to support day-to-day operational execution
- Ensure strong onboarding for new providers and alignment with practice workflows
- Oversee physician human resources needs and support staffing requirements
- Drive customer service and customer satisfaction across market practices
- Monitor and analyze financial performance to support sustainable practice results
- Support Meaningful Use attestations and related reporting requirements
- Review business information systems and practice profile performance
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory bodies and standards
Requirements
- Leadership experience in physician operations, clinical practice operations, or a related healthcare operations role
- Strong understanding of healthcare compliance, reporting, and regulatory expectations
- Experience working with financial analysis and performance metrics
- Proven ability to collaborate with physicians, managers, and cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated commitment to service quality
