About the Role
As a Benefits Specialist, you’ll help manage and improve our employee benefits and leave programs with a strong focus on compliance, service delivery, and data accuracy. You’ll work independently to oversee day-to-day administration, interpret plan documents and regulatory requirements, and partner with vendors to ensure employees and managers receive clear, timely support.
This position is fully onsite in the Lake Oswego, Oregon office.
Responsibilities
- Administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement, and voluntary plans.
- Review and interpret plan documents and applicable regulatory requirements to support accurate administration.
- Advise employees and managers on benefits and leave topics, ensuring consistent guidance.
- Coordinate with benefits vendors to support effective service delivery and issue resolution.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency, data integrity, and employee experience.
- Support program enhancements aligned with the organization’s total rewards strategy.
Requirements
- Experience administering employee benefits and leave programs.
- Strong understanding of benefits plan documents and related compliance requirements.
- Ability to interpret regulations and communicate guidance clearly to employees and managers.
- Proven attention to detail with a focus on data integrity and accurate recordkeeping.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits
- Competitive salary range: $65,000–$80,000 (DOE).
- Onsite work environment in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
