About the Role
Breeze Bio is seeking a full-time Senior Manager of People Operations to build and run the HR function end-to-end. This execution-first role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and is designed for someone who enjoys hands-on ownership of day-to-day people operations.
Responsibilities
- Own payroll processing and ensure timely, accurate pay cycles
- Manage onboarding and offboarding end-to-end, including required documentation
- Screen candidates and support hiring workflows with a consistent, fair process
- Be the primary point of contact for employee questions and issue resolution
- Maintain and update compliance documentation to meet applicable requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience in HR/People Operations with hands-on responsibility for core HR processes
- Strong understanding of payroll workflows and employee lifecycle administration
- Experience supporting recruiting activities, including candidate screening
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving, early-stage environment
- Strong attention to detail for compliance documentation and recordkeeping
