About the Role
Join our Ann Arbor, Michigan team as a Bioengineering Intern supporting hands-on life science engineering work. This internship is ideal for current master’s or PhD students in Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field who are excited by mechanical systems, biological experimentation, and instrumentation.
Responsibilities
- Work onsite with experienced engineers and scientists in support of experimental and system-level testing
- Assist with wet lab activities and mechanical/system tests for life science applications
- Analyze experimental data and contribute to test documentation
- Follow established lab practices and safety procedures, including BSL2 requirements
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a master’s or PhD program in a relevant engineering discipline
- Strong technical foundation with interest in mechanical systems and instrumentation
- Some exposure to programming (for data analysis or related tasks)
- Familiarity with working in a BSL2 laboratory environment
