About the Role
Fivetran and dbt Labs are building the data infrastructure layer that helps teams move, transform, and trust their data. As a Business Process Analyst within Systems Engineering, you’ll help improve how our systems and workflows operate—ensuring they’re reliable, efficient, and aligned with customer and internal needs.
Responsibilities
- Analyze current business and engineering processes to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Document workflows, requirements, and operating procedures to support consistent execution
- Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to translate process needs into actionable system/process changes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by tracking outcomes and refining processes over time
Requirements
- Experience analyzing business processes and translating findings into practical recommendations
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex workflows
- Comfort working with technical teams and understanding system/process dependencies
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and process rigor
