About the Role

We’re seeking a CAD Designer (Level I/II) to support the preparation of design drawings and project documentation for facility/plant modifications, equipment updates, and other engineering initiatives. You’ll help produce design change notices, bills of materials, and related materials that keep projects moving smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assist with developing design drawings for facility/plant modifications
  • Create design change notices and supporting documentation
  • Develop and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) for equipment and project needs
  • Support documentation for equipment and other project-related deliverables
  • Communicate clearly with team members using strong written and verbal skills

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Designer Level I: Completed two years of college or technical school coursework in AutoCAD (AutoCAD AUD preferred) or a technical discipline (or equivalent)
  • Designer Level I: May require 1 year of design experience in the applicable business unit specialization
  • Designer Level II: Associate’s degree or technical school certification in AutoCAD (AutoCAD AUD preferred) plus 2 years of electrical utility design experience
  • Strong PC skills in a Windows environment
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and effective communication
