About the Role
Arcadis is seeking a Construction Cost Estimator to support clients on complex, high-impact projects with our Resilience Water Northeast team in White Plains, New York. In this role, you’ll help shape project planning by translating technical scope into accurate, market-informed cost estimates—primarily for public sector work.
Responsibilities
- Review project constructability and identify estimating inputs and risks
- Perform quantity takeoffs and develop detailed estimate summaries
- Prepare cost estimates that reflect current market conditions
- Support estimation efforts across a variety of project types, as assigned
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project requirements
Requirements
- Experience preparing construction cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
- Strong understanding of estimating practices and cost drivers
- Ability to evaluate constructability and incorporate assumptions into estimates
- Comfort working with public sector project requirements and documentation
