About the Role
We are seeking a Commissary Contractor Monitor to perform quality assurance inspections and contract surveillance for commissary services. In this role, you will help ensure contracted work meets DeCA directives and supports smooth day-to-day operations at the commissary.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality assurance inspections and contractor surveillance for assigned commissary services.
- Review contractor performance and provide recommendations for additions, deletions, or changes to contracted services to maintain compliance.
- Approve or reject contractor work schedules and verify work is completed with the required quality and timeliness.
- Support the store’s space allocation program, including assigning proper shelf locations when shelf tags are missing or unclear.
- Advise commissary or contracted order writers to support accurate ordering and inventory processes.
- Serve as the commissary manager’s representative during night hours to help ensure government property is secure.
Requirements
- Experience conducting quality assurance inspections and monitoring contractor performance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate work quality and adherence to directives.
- Ability to communicate clear recommendations and operational guidance to contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Comfort working night hours as needed to support secure operations.
