About the Role
Smartly is seeking a Compensation and Insights Analyst to strengthen our Total Rewards operations and People Analytics capabilities. This role blends HR technology, data-driven insights, and scalable processes to help us make better people decisions.
Responsibilities
- Support and administer global compensation programs, including market pricing, offers, promotions, internal moves, job evaluations, and annual compensation cycles.
- Maintain global job architecture and ensure accurate Workday compensation data.
- Manage salary survey participation and related compensation benchmarking activities.
- Deliver workforce and compensation insights that inform HR and business decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve People operations through automation, AI, and other scalable process improvements.
- Partner closely with the Global Total Rewards Lead and broader People team to continuously refine compensation workflows.
Requirements
- Experience working in compensation operations, People Analytics, or HR technology environments.
- Strong analytical skills with comfort working with compensation data and reporting.
- Experience with Workday (or similar HRIS) and compensation-related modules is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver accurate, process-driven outcomes.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset for process improvement.
