About the Role
Metabase is looking for a Controller to help keep our BizOps & Finance operations running smoothly. You’ll be part of a systems-driven team that supports the company behind the scenes—helping us measure, manage, and scale with clarity.
Responsibilities
- Own core accounting and financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and documentation
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support operational planning and decision-making
- Drive process improvements across finance operations using a systems mindset
- Support audits and compliance activities as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in controllership, accounting leadership, or a similar finance operations role
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, close processes, and internal controls
- Ability to collaborate across teams while driving clear, repeatable processes
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, startup-to-enterprise environment
