About the Role
Azenta is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager to help drive accurate, timely cost reporting and support data-driven decision-making. In this role, you’ll partner across teams to ensure our financial information is reliable and aligned with business needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead cost accounting activities, including analysis, reporting, and month-end support
- Develop and maintain cost accounting processes, controls, and documentation
- Partner with Finance and operational stakeholders to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Identify trends and opportunities to improve cost efficiency and reporting accuracy
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies
Requirements
- Proven experience in cost accounting or managerial accounting roles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and explain variances
- Advanced proficiency with accounting systems and spreadsheet tools
- Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and coordinate across cross-functional teams
