About the Role
Meta is seeking a Data Center Lease Development Manager to help drive our leased and colocation data center location strategy across the U.S. In this role, you’ll partner with Site Selection Managers to evaluate opportunities, shape lease solutions, and support the execution of large, complex transactions in the hyperscale space—especially as it relates to AI deployment in leased environments.
Responsibilities
- Own and advance Meta’s leased and colocation data center location strategy
- Lead site selection efforts, including technical due diligence and coordination across stakeholders
- Negotiate and administer large-scale data center lease transactions
- Analyze commercial and technical requirements to develop creative leasing and business model solutions
- Support lease management and help navigate challenges that arise during negotiation and ongoing administration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal agreements align with business goals
Requirements
- Extensive experience conducting technical assessments for data center lease opportunities
- Proven track record negotiating and administering complex data center lease agreements
- Deep knowledge of leased data center operations, including site selection, contract negotiation, and lease management
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking to develop out-of-the-box solutions for large lease options
- Experience working in hyperscale or similar environments
