About the Role
Sand Technologies is seeking a Data Engineer to help build reliable data pipelines and platforms that enable Physical AI solutions for critical industries. You’ll work with a team focused on turning complex real-world data into usable intelligence for healthcare, water, energy, telecommunications, and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines that support analytics and AI use cases
- Develop and optimize data models for scalable, high-quality data products
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to integrate data from multiple sources
- Ensure data reliability through monitoring, validation, and performance improvements
- Support deployment and documentation of data solutions used in production environments
Requirements
- Strong experience building data pipelines and working with large-scale datasets
- Proficiency with SQL and at least one data processing framework
- Experience with data modeling and designing for performance and maintainability
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms and orchestration tools is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot data issues and communicate clearly with technical teams
