About the Role
Workada is building high-quality labeled data that helps advanced technology systems better understand information and complete real-world tasks. As a Data Labeling Specialist, you’ll review and organize digital content—such as text, images, and documents—then categorize, evaluate, and complete quality checks to ensure the data meets project standards.
Responsibilities
- Review written information, images, documents, and other digital content with care
- Follow detailed labeling guidelines and project instructions consistently
- Categorize and evaluate examples to support accurate system training
- Perform quality checks to catch errors, inconsistencies, or missing details
- Use web-based tools and online platforms to complete tasks
- Work independently while contributing to a larger data labeling effort
Requirements
- Comfortable working on a computer for extended periods
- Reliable internet connection
- Strong attention to detail and strong judgment
- Ability to follow written guidelines and meet deadlines
- Clear written communication skills
- Basic familiarity with spreadsheets, online forms, or similar web-based tools
- Prior experience in data labeling, annotation, quality review, research, writing, customer support, operations, or administrative work is helpful but not required
Compensation & Schedule
- $18–$22 per hour (up to 40 hours per week)
