Data Labeling Specialist (Entry-Level) - Remote/Computer-Based

About the Role

Workada is building high-quality labeled data that helps advanced technology systems better understand information and complete real-world tasks. As a Data Labeling Specialist, you’ll review and organize digital content—such as text, images, and documents—then categorize, evaluate, and complete quality checks to ensure the data meets project standards.

Responsibilities

• Review written information, images, documents, and other digital content with care
• Follow detailed labeling guidelines and project instructions consistently
• Categorize and evaluate examples to support accurate system training
• Perform quality checks to catch errors, inconsistencies, or missing details
• Use web-based tools and online platforms to complete tasks
• Work independently while contributing to a larger data labeling effort

Requirements

• Comfortable working on a computer for extended periods
• Reliable internet connection
• Strong attention to detail and strong judgment
• Ability to follow written guidelines and meet deadlines
• Clear written communication skills
• Basic familiarity with spreadsheets, online forms, or similar web-based tools
• Prior experience in data labeling, annotation, quality review, research, writing, customer support, operations, or administrative work is helpful but not required

Compensation & Schedule

• $18–$22 per hour (up to 40 hours per week)
