About the Role
Scout Motors is building the next chapter of iconic American mobility. We’re looking for a Design Release Engineer to support the Secondary Controller and software release process, helping ensure our electrified powertrains and vehicle systems are delivered with quality, traceability, and on-time release readiness.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute design release activities for secondary controller and software deliverables
- Support software release planning, validation readiness, and release documentation
- Collaborate with engineering teams to track requirements, changes, and verification status
- Maintain release artifacts and ensure configuration control across software and design packages
- Identify release risks early and help drive actions to resolve blockers
Requirements
- Experience with software release processes and/or embedded systems delivery in automotive or similar environments
- Strong understanding of configuration management and release documentation practices
- Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, validation, and program teams
- Comfort working with complex technical change workflows and traceability needs
