About the Role
Sphinx builds modern software to tackle complex national security challenges in space. We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us deliver scalable, secure systems using open-source technologies and strong engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable software delivery
- Automate infrastructure and operational workflows to improve performance and consistency
- Collaborate with engineers to implement secure, scalable environments
- Monitor systems in production and support incident response and troubleshooting
- Improve deployment processes, tooling, and documentation to increase team transparency
Requirements
- Experience with DevOps practices and automation for cloud or infrastructure environments
- Strong familiarity with CI/CD tooling and workflow design
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and operational best practices
- Comfort working with open-source technologies and modern development toolchains
- Ability to collaborate across teams with clear, accountable communication
