About the Role
Openly is modernizing insurance from the ground up, improving how customers experience coverage. As a DevOps/SRE II, you’ll help build and operate the systems that keep our platform reliable, secure, and scalable while our engineering team grows quickly.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD and infrastructure automation to support fast, dependable releases
- Improve service reliability through monitoring, alerting, and incident response
- Partner with engineering teams to streamline deployments and reduce operational risk
- Manage cloud infrastructure and operational tooling with a focus on performance and cost efficiency
- Apply SRE practices to drive continuous improvements in reliability and system health
Requirements
- Experience supporting production systems with DevOps and/or SRE practices
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and automation
- Proficiency with monitoring/observability and troubleshooting distributed systems
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and release engineering
- Comfort collaborating across teams and communicating clearly during incidents
