About the Role
North Point Technology is seeking a Systems Operations Engineer to support the GEOINT Visualization Services (GVS) environment. This is an onsite role in Herndon, Virginia, requiring an active Top Secret (TS) clearance to begin, with TS/SCI preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day system operations for the GVS environment
- Perform security scanning and support remediation activities
- Manage patching and maintenance to keep systems secure and stable
- Provide on-call support as needed to address operational issues
- Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to meet compliance and contractual performance requirements
Requirements
- Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
- Experience supporting mission-critical systems with a strong focus on security and compliance
- Knowledge of patch management and security scanning practices
- Ability to collaborate effectively with customer and internal stakeholders
- Willingness to participate in on-call support
