About the Role
Leading Educators (LE) is seeking a Director to lead the development and implementation of AI-enabled instructional approaches for ELA. You’ll help educators translate standards and complex content into engaging, student-centered lessons—supported by technology and grounded in strong teaching practice.
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee AI-enabled learning and instruction solutions tailored to ELA teaching and literacy outcomes.
- Partner with educators, instructional leaders, and school system stakeholders to identify needs and refine instructional models.
- Translate research, standards, and classroom realities into practical tools, guidance, and learning experiences for teachers.
- Support adult learning through intentional collaboration by design, including facilitating adoption and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to systemic instructional and talent strategies that strengthen teaching quality across partner districts.
Requirements
- Deep experience in ELA instruction and instructional leadership (e.g., teacher leader, instructional coach, or curriculum leadership).
- Strong understanding of teaching practices, standards alignment, and how students learn literacy skills.
- Experience evaluating and implementing technology or AI-enabled tools in educational settings.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and stakeholders, and translate complex ideas into clear guidance.
- Commitment to equitable instruction and measurable student learning outcomes.
