About the Role
Empower Pharmacy is seeking a Sr. Director/Director to lead API Distribution & Commercial Development. In this role, you’ll help expand access to critical medications by strengthening distribution capabilities, building commercial strategies, and partnering across operations to support scalable, high-quality pharmaceutical supply.
Responsibilities
- Own strategy and execution for API distribution growth, including planning, partner development, and operational alignment
- Develop commercial development initiatives to expand customer and channel opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, logistics, and customer-facing groups) to ensure smooth execution
- Identify market and supply opportunities, assess risks, and recommend actions to support business expansion
- Support performance tracking and continuous improvement across distribution and commercial programs
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in pharmaceutical distribution, commercial development, or related supply chain environments
- Strong understanding of the healthcare/pharmaceutical landscape and the factors that impact reliable distribution
- Ability to build partnerships and influence stakeholders across functions
- Track record of driving growth initiatives with measurable outcomes
- Excellent communication and strategic planning skills
