About the Role
Raven, RA Capital’s healthcare incubator, is seeking a Director to lead and advance oligonucleotide and conjugation chemistry efforts. You will help translate scientific breakthroughs into therapies that move efficiently from discovery toward delivery—prioritizing safety, speed, and impact for patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide scientific leadership across oligonucleotide chemistry and conjugation programs
- Design, execute, and oversee chemistry strategies that support development goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate experimental outcomes into actionable development plans
- Drive optimization of conjugation approaches to improve performance, stability, and manufacturability
- Communicate progress and technical findings to internal stakeholders and external partners
Requirements
- Deep expertise in oligonucleotide chemistry and conjugation methods
- Strong understanding of chemical characterization and analytical workflows
- Experience leading technical programs, mentoring teams, or managing complex projects
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment
