About the Role
Ford Motor Credit is seeking a Director, Business Information Security Officer (BISO) to serve as a strategic “mini CISO” for the Ford Credit business. You’ll translate cybersecurity and compliance requirements into practical guidance for business leaders worldwide, helping protect critical assets while keeping operations moving.
Responsibilities
- Own Ford Credit cybersecurity globally and provide leadership accountability for security outcomes.
- Act as a bridge between Ford’s central Cybersecurity organization and Ford Credit business teams.
- Advocate for business needs within cybersecurity planning and governance.
- Ensure security and compliance concepts are implemented in ways that support business goals.
- Maintain a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Ford Motor Company CISO.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity leadership, governance, and risk management.
- Ability to translate technical security requirements into business-ready guidance.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across global teams.
- Working knowledge of security and compliance frameworks and how to operationalize them.
