About the Role
PlayMetrics is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company transforming how youth sports organizations operate. We’re seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Human Resources to build and run our people function as we scale. This role is based in Morrisville, North Carolina and reports to the COO.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day HR operations, processes, and execution while scaling the organization
- Lead recruiting and hiring strategy to support business growth
- Manage compensation planning, benefits administration, and related HR programs
- Oversee HRIS and payroll operations, ensuring accurate and compliant workflows
- Ensure HR compliance across applicable federal, state, and local regulations
- Drive performance management processes and support manager effectiveness
- Partner with leadership as a trusted advisor on people strategy and organizational effectiveness
Requirements
- Proven experience in HR leadership with strong operational ownership
- Hands-on experience with recruiting, compensation, HRIS, and payroll
- Solid knowledge of HR compliance and employment best practices
- Experience implementing or improving performance management and people processes
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, PE-backed or high-growth startup environment
