About the Role
Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry is seeking a Director of Development to help advance the school’s mission through strategic fundraising and long-term donor engagement. Founded in 1863, Kornberg is part of a legacy of innovation in dental education, research, community service, and patient care, supported by a global network of more than 7,000 alumni.
Responsibilities
- Lead development strategy to support priorities across dental education, research, and community programs
- Build and manage relationships with donors, alumni, and key stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities and shape funding initiatives
- Support proposal development, stewardship planning, and donor communications
- Track progress toward fundraising goals and report on outcomes
Requirements
- Proven experience in development, fundraising, or major gifts
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners
- Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities
